Former Nanotech Founder, Photographer, and Full-time Nomad. I write stories and newsletters on achieving personal growth, location independence, and travel.
About
1997-2004
In 1997, I graduated, finished the draft and social service in 1998, and traveled to Latin America. I moved to Mexico in 1999. I studied business administration at the German school Alexander von Humboldt in Mexico City, interned at Siemens, and eventually became Assistant Director at Müller Martini, a Swiss book manufacturer. In 2004, I relocated from Mexico City to Cancún and initially struggled with the hotel industry before making a profit and developing my sales skills.
2007
Determined to find my way, I founded my first company, Nano Depot. Around this time, I also worked as a Special Effects Assistant on Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto, which was a fantastic experience that gave me a unique perspective on the creative process behind major film projects. Over the next 12 years, I grew the nano coatings business into a seven-figure company with branches throughout Latin America.
2016
I discovered a new passion: photography. What began as an escape from the daily grind and a meditative practice for capturing moments grew into a personal brand, with my Instagram account reaching over 80,000 followers. I became well-known in the photography community; I opened my first gallery and held numerous exhibitions around the world.
2020
The pandemic hit me hard, and I lost everything—my businesses, financial stability, and much of what I had built over the years. It was the darkest and most painful chapter of my life. But it also forced me to confront my past, let go of what no longer served me, and reimagine my future. Rock bottom became the foundation for my transformation.
2021-2022
In search of rediscovering my purpose, I embraced digital nomadism, traveling the world without a set itinerary. I struggled with a loss of identity as a CEO, jumping between ventures such as hotel photography and dropshipping in search of quick fixes with no clear direction.
Until I began writing down my thoughts and experiences, I was lost.
2023
Through my travels, I realized that many men, like me, sought freedom not just from physical locations but from toxic environments and personal constraints. I started to documented my journey through The Uncharted Road, sharing insights on location-independent living and personal growth. I also launched a YouTube channel, focusing on the realities of life on the road.
2024 – Today
With years of experience as a digital nomad, I now dedicate myself to helping men transition into lives of freedom and independence.
Through newsletters, coaching, and ghostwriting, I guide them in building sustainable online income streams, breaking free from societal expectations, and creating meaningful lives they truly enjoy—drawing from my own journey of struggle, growth, and rebirth.
While I sometimes take photos, my heart lies in writing and sharing stories that inspire and connect.
