5 Unconventional Coping Strategies For Lonely Single Men To Find Purpose In Life

The loneliness epidemic has completely spiraled out of control; never before have more young men’s lives ended in suicide.

The numbers are shocking; men kill themselves at a 5 times higher rate than women, with 2022 having the highest count ever in history. Loneliness is predominantly a men’s issue. Even though the media wants us to believe that this has nothing to do with current cultural trends like modern feminism being wrong about pretty much everything and teaching women systematically to feel contempt for men, suicide, among other issues disproportionately affecting men, is, of course, directly related to this. We need to turn it around by shifting the focus on where it needs to be

We need to provide coping strategies that allow young men to thrive despite the anti-male climate in the West.

Strategy 1: Walk away and engage in solo travel

Change your environment to snap out of the situation you are stuck in

In psychology, this is called “exposure” therapy. You do what you fear the most and just be alone. Not only do new environments, perspectives, and stimuli keep you busy from ruminating, but they also create space for new opportunities to arise or even find purpose where you wouldn´t have expected it.

I myself went on my digital nomad journey, and while it hasn’t always been easy either, it is way better than the alternative, so just do it!

Strategy 2: Cultivate Creative Hobbies

Tune into your creative self, even if you don´t consider yourself to be creative or artistic

One of the most curative things you can do is find an activity that creates what psychologists call “flow”. We all know this feeling when times stand still and we are completely immersed in the moment, doing whatever it is we are doing with every fiber of our body. Whether that is writing, painting, or any other creative activity, it doesn’t really matter as long as it provides you with this pause in your mind.

Here is how I have used nature photography as a form of meditation to let go of negative thoughts and reflection.

Strategy 3: Join groups that will actually help you

Join self-help groups for men in the red pill space and exchange experiences

Unless it is your mother or sister, the harsh truth is that most women are completely ignorant when it comes to men’s needs. There is a term for this; it is called female solipsism. In fact, I contend that the majority of women are misandrists, whether consciously or unconsciously, and it is not even their fault because feminism has brainwashed them with socially acceptable nonsense like toxic masculinity for more than half a century.

This is why it is totally acceptable for women to go on social media with “kill all men signs” and even podcasts hosted on Apple, a company that has fully embraced woke ideology and is supposedly against hate speech. Of course, only if it is speech they don´t like.

Watch a few episodes of the Fresh and Fit podcast to witness the level of dilusion and ignorance women display when it comes to men’s needs.

Find likeminded men with the same problems, and don’t ask the fox how to guard the henhouse.

Strategy 4: Your body is your temple

I know this one is not unconventional, but it is so important that it had to be said: get your sh*t together and work out hard.

There is no substitute for the healthy dopamine boost you get from working out and exercising regularly. I am not here to tell you why that is, but I am here to tell you that this is 100% within your power and entirely dependent on your self-discipline. Quit the alcohol, drugs, and porn and do the work every single day.

Just do it and watch your overall mood improve dramatically

Strategy 5: Discover Spirituality

Become like that rock hit by waves in the shore and stand upright and still

Resilience, just like any valuable skill, needs to be developed over time by overcoming hardships and difficult times. There is no way out but in. I can´t overemphasize how big of an impact meditation has had on my life.

Meditation is accepting the present moment as it is and then letting go—ready for the next day and adventure because, as men, we are meant to conquer the world, and guess what? You do matter
